That’s where I come in.
I’m Kirsten, your Lovebird wing woman, and alongside being a wedding celebrant I bring more than 30 years of professional event experience to your day.
As your On-the-Day Wedding Coordinator, I take the plans you’ve already made and help turn them into a wedding day that actually flows.
I can work quietly behind the scenes, step forward as your Master of Ceremonies, or do a little of both.

The pre-wedding handover
On the day, I become the go-to person for your suppliers, so their questions come to me rather than interrupting you.
I’ll know the schedule, what should be happening next and who needs to be where. I’ll liaise with your venue and suppliers, keeping everyone moving in the same direction.
If something unexpected crops up, I’ll quietly deal with it. Ideally, you’ll never even know.

Keeping the day flowing
Weddings involve a surprising amount of gentle herding — and someone needs to keep an eye on the clock.
I’ll move guests, gather people when they’re needed and keep photographs, speeches and celebrations flowing without making the day feel regimented.
The timings matter, but so does the atmosphere. I’ll keep both on track.

Master of ceremonies
Need someone confident with a microphone? Very happy to oblige.
I can welcome your guests, announce your entrance, introduce the speeches, gather everyone for the cake cutting and first dance, and make sure people always know what’s happening next.
With more than 30 years of events and public speaking behind me, getting a roomful of excited wedding guests to listen is definitely in my skill set. Mic? Consider it handled.

Set-up & last-minute details
I’ll check that the things you’ve carefully planned are actually where they should be and that everyone knows what they’re doing.
That might mean checking ceremony details, making sure suppliers have arrived, putting finishing touches in place or sorting one of those wonderfully unpredictable wedding-day moments.
And yes, I bring an emergency kit - Because weddings have a habit of keeping us on our toes.

The rehearsal
Where a rehearsal makes sense, I’ll help everyone understand where they need to be, what they’re doing and when they’re doing it.
We can walk through entrances, positioning, timings and the key moments that often cause last-minute questions, giving everyone the chance to feel comfortable and prepared.
It means less confusion, fewer nerves and far fewer people asking you, “What am I supposed to be doing?” on the big day.

Your first planning visit is included.
Additional travel is charged at 45p per mile where applicable from my home base in S25.
If your wedding requires an overnight stay, we'll agree any accommodation costs with you in advance.

Some couples want me working mainly behind the scenes. Others want a confident Master of Ceremonies as well. Many want both.
We'll work out what makes sense for your day.

I'm based near Junction 31 of the M1, which puts me in a rather handy position for weddings across South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and beyond.
And I'm certainly not frightened of travelling — my first wedding ceremony took me all the way to Tunisia.

Your booking terms will set out exactly what happens if you need to postpone or cancel, and I'll always talk through the options with you if circumstances change.

For many weddings, I strongly recommend one.
A rehearsal gives us the chance to walk through the important moments, make sure everybody understands their role and deal with questions before the wedding day itself.
