It’s the perfect spot for a ceremony that respects the "classic" vibe while leaving plenty of room for us to inject your personality and a good dose of humour. The layout is brilliant for keeping the energy high, and because it’s so secluded, it feels like you’ve taken over your own historic mansion for the ultimate house party.
Top Tip: I was at a wedding there last year and the food was amazing—if you are a foodie, this is the place!

For couples who want the grandeur of a stately home but want to keep the atmosphere relaxed and heartfelt, Wortley Hall is a gem.
The Vibe: Historical scale with a warm, welcoming heart.
Why I Love It: With 26 acres of woodland and formal gardens, it is perfect for those who want a ceremony that feels open and airy. They also operate a "one wedding per day" policy, ensuring you have my full attention as your "Trusted Pair of Hands" from start to finish.
Top Tip: The library is a stunning spot for photos, but for the ceremony, the "Foundry" offers fantastic acoustics for live music.

This historic country house is surrounded by the most incredible gardens and holds a very special place in my heart.
The Vibe: Timeless, majestic, and deeply romantic.
Why I Love It: I grew up in Blyth, the next village, and I spent many summers going for walks in the grounds and seeing their famous snowdrops and bluebell woods. It’s a magical place! The grand hallway is a breath-taking spot for a "big reveal" entrance.
Top Tip: If you are planning a spring wedding, the snowdrops are world-famous. It makes for a ceremony backdrop that your guests will talk about for years.
